New account? Well what about...
Started By
I just bought a new account, and I was upset by the fact that I spent a lot of time saving for my upgrade, perks, and all my dog slots, and that those can't be transferred to your new account...I think we should be able to transfer our old bonuses that cost BONES (for many of us, including me in part, real money) to our new account.

Who's with me?

I can't support this, either.

Can you imagine how busy the admins would be just in moving everyone's perks and whatnot each time a person decided they wanted to migrate accounts? That would be time taken away from assisting our players with other things and bettering the site in general.

From strictly a cost analysis perspective, this would waste far too much time/energy/money on a change which was entirely the player's prerogative and non-site-sanctioned. The only reason that we do this for the low number account auctions is because those Bones directly benefit the site (and all of its players by removing the Bones from game play, thereby aiding the economy). Additionally, we can set those auctions up when we have time to manage them XD

By all means it can be kept up :)

And I agree with tiger, when I brought my lower number I brought it from the site, and the slots/upgrade was transferred. The only reason I even got it was because it was transferable, otherwise account numbers are just a number. And if your going to waste all the time, money and effort you put into improving an account for a lower number its rather silly IMO.

No support.

Buying an account from another player is a risk you choose take. It's your choice to abandon your account for one a player sells. It's just a number why abandon all you spent on your old account for just a lower number? Buying one from the site is another matter IMO

I bought my low number from the site for bones and kept my old main as my side. I only got to transfer my slots and stuff from my old main to my new lower number but I did not get to transfer any of the stuff from my old side it was frozen and that was that.

Thanks Evlon, it is good to see the reasoning behind it...can we still keep this up?

The accounts that had slots/upgrades transferred were sold by alacrity, not other users. *just clearing this up*

To me it seems like its this way because first the account your buying will come with whatever the other user left over, slots upgrades money you name it. Second its not really an official sale, where as the low account number auction was.

This is just my opinion, I do not make the rules I just enforce them :)

Agreed THree

However, in argument, I know they have done it in the past, so why not now?

I'm sure there's a reason the admins decided not to do this. I just can't see why. I'd love to see some feedback on this from them.

Anyway, I support this suggestion. And one other thing I wish that we could transfer is our referral points - I had a couple on my first account and I'm sad I can't get the items from those referrals just because I got a new account.

But like I said, I'm sure there's a REASON why this isn't allowed. Like maybe it's super hard to code or something.

I don't exactly understand, but...

AGREED! That should be possible
